Who we are!
Rizmag Projects (RzP) is a development organisation working to improve the lives of those living in poverty in the developing world. My (Founder‘s) main focus has been on working in poor communities, in partnership with organisations representing the most vulnerable young people in those communities, particularly in Kenya. I work with local partners on initiatives which assist them to become self-sufficient and sustainable. I also work closely with local organisations, groups and leaders to assess the communities overall needs and to identify the most efficient and effective means of addressing these issues. Together with my stakeholder, we strive to ensure that the efforts made by agencies, foundations, companies, individuals and other supporters of Rizmag Projects (RzP) are more than matched by our own efforts to deliver maximum impact from our programme of work.
Our Focal Point: Education in the Community on Just Environmental Management
Help Rizmag Projects, Kenya to raise funds for its lifelong educational programme. We hope to raise US$ 55,000 for our ECO educational project 2014-2015, which will allow us to:
• Coordinate and promote a Tree Planting Outreach Programme with universities, colleges, high schools, primary schools and other community groups;
• Organise a programme of Discovery Days targeted to junior and family members on our nature reserves;
• Design and deliver courses and workshops about animals and plants within our biodiversity for beginners, learners and improvers of all ages;
• Design new online resourses for schools and families on our website;
• Launch our Nature Magazine, aimed at 7 to 17 year-old children and all schools;
• Extend our educational and lifelong learning work in partnership with key stakeholders such as the National & County Governments, via their National Parks and Wildlife Services, Zoos and all our Natural History Museums, amongst others;
• Pursue potential funding sources to allow us to provide a sustainable education programme into the future.
Please donate what you can today to our Rizmag Projects (RzP) ECO Appeal and help us to carry out vital education work and provide a better future for our children, our communities and our environment.
